Update 25th June 2009.
Some Salmon seen in the upper reaches, no Seatrout as yet.... the evening rise is out of this world with great numbers of Brown Trout on small dries in the late evening, great sport with fish from 8oz to 14oz, just a sprinkling of Grayling... they are staying deep.

A poor season overall on the Welsh Dee, the beat that I fish had 28 Salmon for the season and 14 Seatrout, compared to last year 2008 with 51 Salmon and 3 Seatrout. Just finished a three day course on the Grayling fishing in the Upper Dee, the six participants ended up with 105 fish best going 47cm. Next Course mid November 2009, spaces left.
