I would like to let everyone know that there is fantastic fishing on offer in Poole, Dorset, with Wimborne and District Angling Club for both game fish and coarse fish. There is a lake near Bere Regis, that is 11/4 acres and stocked with rainbows, but there are the occasional browns. All rainbows have to be taken, but Browns are to be returned. Many of the rainbows average around 21/2 to 3lbs in weight, are fin perfect, includind their tails and they fight like fury. There are also 4 lakes by Bulbarrow hill. Three of these are rainbow only, and one is brown trout only. This fishery is in an idyllic surrounding and very often you have the whole fishery to yourself. Both of these fisheries offer very cheap trout fishing with the fish costing £5 per fish. After you have paid the yearly membership of £115 for adults, £90 for 0aps and £25 for 12-18 year olds. The yearly membership also allows you to fish many miles of the Stour and about a mile and a half of the Avon. Along with a lot of coarse lakes located around the Wimborne area.
For more information about the trout fishing at Wimborne Angling Club and to join visit the website at: www.wimborneanglingclub.co.uk
